I was approved, but i am not married, never have been and the people put down that i am married and made me give them my boyfriends pay check stub....... And only recieved 156.00 a month till he just left because we couldnt aford to live together off his income alone....... i have been mentally ill my hole life, i was raised in. foster care, a ward of the state of indiana 11-19 , but i never relied on any goverment help, i worked, i was homeless rite out of highschool but i made it.... and i wish i had a lawyer when i decided to apply but i was alone for everything else and didnt kknow that i could get help..

don't say something to Social Security that is not true. You are not married so that is what you should say in the paperwork. But if anybody supports you your SSI can be reduced. Go back into the SSA office and give them some proof that your BF moved out and does not support you.
