More details to this question:
At the end of last year I was diagnosed with CLL (Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia). I worked for the US Postal Service and was planning to work until approx 65 yrs of age. Because of the CLL, I decided that I would retire this year when I turned 62. My retirement from PO is official since end of June, 2021. I applied for regular SS and just started receiving my SS in August. I'm now thinking that I made a mistake filing for regular SS since my condition prevented me from retiring when I wanted to. Since I'm already collecting SS, is it too late to apply for SS Disability?

It's not too late to file for social security disability. If approved, your benefit amount will increase to your full retirement age amount as if you waited. I recommend contacting an attorney who does SSDI law for a free consultation.
