I have received an SSA-820-BK (Work Activity Report Self-Employment) after filling out and returning an SSA-827 (reconsideration level appeals) and an SSA-454-BK (Continuing Disability Review Report)! I had someone help with my taxes last year and my AGI ended up being almost 9K! I don't own a company; I don't work for myself. I have been helping people with small things like business cards, logos, website help, fliers, and small things but never under and DBA, LLC, etc. This last form (454) is basically SAYING I am self-employed or EMPLOYED! There are no questions in it like "ARE you working?", it's all "HOW MUCH have you been working"! Which I haven't! What is happening?!
This is quite ordinary. They simply must determine your residual functional ability. If your work was not able to garner enough income to qualify as substantial gainful activity (which appears to be the case), you may be in a "Ticket to Work" program, nothing more. You can be in such a program repeatedly.
