While in the hospital we signed papers for Deco disability to handle SS disability claim, haven't heard from them and they wont answer me on info

More details to this question:
My son had a massive stroke in Sept 2017, while in the hospital we signed papers to have Deco Disability file a SS disability claim, we have not heard from them and they will not answer any of my correspondence. I'm not sure what my next step has to be as I can not get any information from them. I have also tried to get info from the girl at the hospital who initiated this process to no avail. Thank you for your assistance
