Do I have any options if I cannot find the 5500 form? How?

More details to this question:
I terminated a 401k plan in 2013 and cannot find the 5500 form showing it a final return, do I have any options? I terminated a 401K plan and have final closeout documents for 2013. I cannot find the form 5500 as final report.

If you filed it, you can ask the IRS. If you did not file it, asking them will alert them to your error.

If you're 5500 was prepared by your CPA or pension firm, they'll have a copy. ?The IRS will also provide you with a copy. ?If you did it yourself and the IRS says they never got it, then you need to hire a CPA or attorney.
