How could I get the IRS off my back?

More details to this question:
In 2010 they audited my taxes and said my wife was self employed resulting in a huge tax bill that gets bigger every minute. Now I owe them at least $20,000. What can I do to resolve this?

Taxes from before 2010 are dischargeable in bankruptcy. So bankruptcy should cut off this debt.

First you must be clear about how much you owe and file accurate returns for all periods. Then you can work out either an offer in compromise or an installment agreement.
