I'm trying to get a vendors permit so I can sell lemonade/other goods legally. I created my business, got a FEIN and registered with MTO for sales tax, but now I'm stuck. I don't know if by having an MTO account and registering for sales tax if that counts as my business license or If I have to apply for one. I also don't know where to apply for a vendors permit or business license. I was also curious about what type of food/beverage a vendors permit covers. Could I sell pop, and chips? Any help is appreciated.

you have to check with the city/township/village where you want to sell to see if permits of licenses are required
