Asked on Sep 01st, 2015 on Taxation - Michigan
More details to this question:
We own 2 properties a house and a condo (used to be our rental property) we are planning to live in the condo on school days next fall, is this enough to get it in the school district. We've been paying for the tax of the condo for 10 years now and plan to live there 4 days of the week. Thanks.

As long as this is the address where you register to vote, have your driver's licenses and other indications of residency, it will be your residence for school attendance purposes.

You chose your residence, and it is your address for your drivers and all other licenses, your voter registration instance and taxation. 4 days a week is up to you and should be sufficient to sustain an audit.
