Identity Thief

More details to this question:
My social security number was used by someone else and I was unable to file electronically (Turbo Tax). I've contacted the IRS, SSA, IC3, FTC, Consumer Protection Agency, filed a police report. Also have a police report as well. I spoke to a representative from Turbo Tax and was told that it was not there fault etc., I should be receiving a email in regards to our "wordy" conversation. Detectives will be contacting be in a couple of days. What else can be done?

identity theft is a common problem with the IRS.  make sure that you have explained in writing to the IRS that you are the victim of identity theft. enclose the police report. send registered mail RRR. ed dimon, esq. 732-797-1600
