My partner and I opened a small retail shop in this year. I filed for an EIN online as part of the process. When we went to the bank to open an account, my partner's name wasn't on the EIN. Why is that? How do we fix this?

The names on the EIN letter from the IRS depend on two things: how you filled out the application and how much room there is on the page. You can have your CPA file an amendment for you.
