Can a conservator keep my father in a nursing home against his will?

More details to this question:
My father wants to go home and my brother wants him to stay in a nursing home until he dies. My father isn't any where near dying. He has a girlfriend of 22 years who wants to take care of him. My brother wants to sell his home so he won't have a home to go to.

Then you need to intervene and your father can file a petition asking that your brother be removed as the conservator.
