My father passed and we decided as his heirs to go through and pick things from his possessions that we wanted. This was decided as a group with all parties in agreement. One of the items was a scooter/power chair I wanted because a family I know had a need for one and could not afford one. So it was given/donated to them. Now due to the fact the remaining parts of the will did not go to those whom it was expected several of my sisters have hired a lawyer and are disputing the will. As such has occurred I was told that the power/chair needed to be returned or I would be held responsible for the cost of the item when the estate is sold and the money from the estate is divided between the "rightful heirs of the estate". As it has been donated to someone I am unable to just go ask for it back especially since they have already put some money into minor repairs on it. What can be done to me or what can I do
