Can I still register the house and keep my house or does it go into probate?

More details to this question:
If I have a deed to a home signed over to me but never registered the house and then the person who signed it over dies.

Delivery of the Deed to you operated to convey ownership of the home to you, unless the now deceased owner did not intend for you to become the owner. Recording the Deed has nothing to do with ownership. Recording is a matter of notice [it lets the world know the property was conveyed to you]. Go ahead and record the Deed now.
