QUESTION

Can I sue my Father's closed estate?

Asked on Oct 03rd, 2012 on Estate Planning - Maryland
More details to this question:
My biological father died in 2004. On record my half siblings claimed that my father had a small estate. My father owned a shopping center and condos. I just found out that my father had a will and I don't know what the will said. I do know that my brother took control of my father's shopping center, which was a million or better and sold it. I am sure that my three half siblings received their share. I received nothing from his estate. Can I sue his estate even though it is closed?

It is possible to re-open a closed estate. You might need to sue your siblings, instead of (or in addition to) the estate.
