Do children from previous marriage inherit anything if there is no will?

More details to this question:
My father and step-mother lived in California when he died. If he did not leave a will, do children by previous marriage inherit anything in a community property state such as California?

Who was the parent of the other children? Did you father adopt them if they were not his children?

Possibly. One would have to trace the source of his property to determine whether it is separate or community. Please see an estate lawyer.
