Does a trust have to be distributed by a certain age?

Asked on Nov 19th, 2013 on Trusts and Estates - California
More details to this question:
The wording pertaining to withdrawal says: Trustee shall distribute the entire principal and any undistributed income of a trust to such grandchild when he or she attains the age of thirty (30). There is another section about special withdrawals for medical or education which indicates how the beneficiary can request a withdrawal in writing and it must be given within that year. Can the beneficiary leave it in there up til they decide to withdrawal, OR, must it be distributed at the age of 30 no mattr what?

Don't call me ask a local CA lawyer. If everyone agrees to extend the trust, it may be possible to have the attorney file to extend the trust.
