Emergency petition for guardianship

My elderly father is declining in health and capacity to care for himself. His wife has power of attorney for medical, but is failing to meet his needs. There is domestic violence issues and medical neglect. My dad fell again yesterday and required stitches. Again he threatened to Kill her, put his hands on the paramedic, and was nearly taken out In handcuffs (he is 85.). He is in Bradenton FL. I am in Baltimore, MD, but am wrapping up business to go there. I would like guardianship
