How can I find a Sacramento attorney?

More details to this question:
I need to find the attorney handling the estate of our neighbor. I do not know his / her name. How can I find the attorney's name, please? I live in Sacramento, CA.

If there is a probate, then the court file for the estate will list the attorney's name. If there is no probate, then you will have to ask the next of kin or other people who might know. There is no central directory of the names that you can search. Best of luck to you.

If the estate is on file with the superior court of the county of Sacramento, look at the court website for probate matters, and you will find a name index, and put in the name of your neighbor; however, if death was only recently, then maybe an estate has not been filed in the probate court. Look up your neighbor's case by their name at the County Probate Court, you should be able to find the attorneys name on the forms or on file with the court.

saccourt.ca.gov is the official court website where you can search for cases by party name or by case number. If you know the name of the administrator of the estate, you can search for cases under that name. Or you may try searching the name of the deceased neighbor. When you see the list of documents filed in the case, open any of those titled "Probate Notes". There, you can see information regarding the attorney handling the case.
