Asked on Mar 05th, 2016 on Trusts and Estates - California
More details to this question:
Have a relative with a Trust for assets with out POD beneficiaries CDs, Financial assets, etc included in trust. Don't know how to locate all of the asset holders and the trust executor had access to and is not sharing the information, which could leave one or more assets in limbo or over looked. What to do? Is this legal? Can they claim 'she gave it all to me before she died Does trust lawyer represent executor, trust, trust beneficiaries or everyone including non trust beneficiaries

The personal representative of the estate is required to locate and secure the assets of the estate.   If there is a trust, then the trustee is supposed to locate and secure the trust assets. The trust lawyer represents the trustee.
