How do I file for summary administrative probate in Florida if there is more that one heir?

More details to this question:
My father recently passed away. He had no will. He was not married and he had three children. The only asset he has that is subject to probate is a checking account with $3500 in it. I have contacted a local lawyer who informed me that it would cost more than $3500 to file a summary administration. Does this sound right?

Shop around-we charge $1500. If your funeral bill is more than $3500-you can do the probate without an attorney.
