How do I get out of my parents custody as a 17 year old girl?

I’m a 17 year old girl who lives with her family. I’ve been wanting to get out of this house since I was 15 years old. The reasoning behind it is because ever since I got into a relationship my parents have turned against me. My parents have threatened me before, they have threatened my boyfriend, they mentally abuse me in this house. I’m so tired , i be so ready to just end my life, it’s constant arguing and physical arguments. I find moving out the best option. My boyfriend’s family treat me like i’m their own. My family disowns me. They don’t trust me, they don’t like me , they don’t even take me serious , mind you i turn 18 in may. I’m so done with living here. I need someone to talk to , someone who can help me get out of this house. I want to take this court , and get out of custody of my parents. They are draining. Please help me figure things out. Please

In New Jersey, a child becomes an adult at the age of 18, and all parental rights transfer to the child upon reaching this age of majority. Once you're 18, your parents cannot make any legal decisions for you. This includes where you want to live, whether you want to go to school, where you want to work, or who you date. Teenage years can be a very challenging and confusing time. Just know you're not alone in your predicament. Many of us faced these issues when we were your age. Be strong and have faith.
