How do I take over the house of my decrease mother legally

My aunt thinks she has rights to my mom home in which there was no will and my mom also had dementia in which she legally could not make any decisions in which my aunt got her to sign power of attorney over to her but from my understanding when she died that became null and void but will like to have this home so I can take my childhood home back.
