Good Morning. My sister passed away 27 march 2013 and the will is not in probate yet. How long does this take? What has to be done to set the will into probate. Is it the executor who does this?? Exactly what has to be done to put the will into probate. Thank You

Unfortunately the answer to your question is "it depends". Usually the executor (personal representative) is named in the will. Most probates require the assistance of a lawyer.
