How much should a comprehensive irrevocable trust cost?

I’m thinking about doing an irrevocable trust. Our finances are simple. No businesses. No property but our house.The beneficiaries of the trust would be my three children equally. My spouse and I are in our mid sixties. I’ve been quoted $5000 - $6000 for a lawyer to do that. Is that a typical cost in wisconsin.

In general, it is my experience that an Irrevocable Trust would cost upwards of $10,000.00 to draft. The fees you were quoted are definitely on the low end.
