Our friend wrote her will naming me executor. She left her home, all of its contents and land, which is mortgaged, to myself and my signifigant other, along with her pets and vehicle. She wishes for us to move in immediately after death and take care of her animals. How will that work if I have to sell everything to pay her debts etc;
If you have to sell everything to pay her debts, you hae to sell everything to pay her debts before distributing anything to you and your significant other or taking care of her animals.
