I need information about paying out an inheritance when one heir has died before payments have been made.

More details to this question:
My aunt lived in Oregon. My uncle in Florida. Along with cousins, I inherit a portion of my aunt's estate. My uncle also inherited but died before my aunt's estate was settled. His estate has not yet been set up and we are now at the point of paying the heirs. Can we be paid even though he does not have a letter of administration?
