Is a will legal if it is not signed?

More details to this question:
My uncle passed away and has left me executor of his will. He had it drawn up by a lawyer but never signed and returned it. He has no siblings or children and no family.

No. His estate passes by intestacy which means he died without a last will and testament. His estate will be distributed to the heirs as determined by the state law of where he is domiciled.
