Is there a statute of limitations on receiving inheritance

More details to this question:
My mom passed away 28 years ago her mother passed away approximately 2 years later. Me and my siblings never received our mom share of our grandma's inheritance. The family still owns the property is there anything we can do. I just recently asked my aunt what happened why we weren't included and she has deleted me from her Facebook.
