More details to this question:
My dad has recently passed and his new wife of only a year half were gojng through a divorce and she moved out and my dad as well. He died unexpectedly and only at 49 she is listed on his life insurance can I contest that as she should not Get any of his life insurance money and I am his only child. He did list my son his grandchild but her as well is there and way I can sue her for funeral costs or contest her as a beneficiary?

No.  Beneficiary designations survive separation and, in some states, divorce.
