Medicaid lien on Grandma's House Title

Hello, I really need some advice. I live in my grandmother's home that is fully paid for. My grandmother was taken by the state about 3 years ago and put into a nursing home because of her advanced Alzheimer's. She has two daughters, my mom and my aunt. My mother lives in this house with me, my grandmother passed away a year ago, and the house went to my mother because my mom is legally disabled. The house is now in my mother and my aunts name. Medicaid has a lien on the title. My mother is leaving next week to move somewhere else, and I will be continuing to live here. I am a granddaughter. My question is, if medicaid finds out that my Mom has left the residence, will the government or medicaid force me to leave ?? Or is it just that anyone can live in the house, but just can not sale it? I'm only 23 so I don't know much about this. I'

It is possible that the lien was not enforced since your mother was a child living in the home. It may not extend to you. I would consult with a local LA elder law attorney.
