It really depends. There are ways to get around a trust. One example would be to show that there has been a change in circumstance. For example, if money was left in trust for you and mentioned a specific reason and that specific reason doesn't exist anymore then we have a change in circumstance. Another idea would be to see it was set up in trust due to a mistake; that is that mom had been falsely given information.
