QUESTION

reimbursement for legal expenses - probate

Asked on Oct 23rd, 2013 on Estate Litigation - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I applied and was appointed by the court to be the administrator of my mothers estate. One sibling contested, hired legal representation, and only formally requested to have a 3rd party administer the estate. Since being appointed as administrator this sibling has gone out of their way to make outrageous claims and threats and for the most part used an attorney to represent her. Is she entitled to any reimbursement for legal fees, either for contesting my appointment as administrator or for any of the other actions that took place after I was appointed? it seems outrageous that either might be reimbursed but i have learned that not everything is fair or makes sense.
