What are the steps to take in claiming inheritance?

More details to this question:
I have family paperwork proving some family members claimed inheritance for other family they said did not exist. Proof of other court documents filed oil, gas minerals.

The executor will need to take legal action on behalf of the estate. Note in the Prince estate probate, the judge ordered DNA proof.
