QUESTION

What can I do when there's no will or trust

Asked on Dec 06th, 2017 on Trusts and Estates - California
More details to this question:
My mother passed away June 16,2017 and my sister has said my mom left her the house and car and refuses to show me papers showing that's true. I found forms to download on my mom's computer and my sister filled her name on everything. The thing is there were no signature or notery and the forms they were downloaded were dated September 2017, two months after she passed. What are my options to keep her from selling the house

It's difficult to say without further information.  If there was a will or trust, you would be entitled to see a copy.  You're probably going to end up in litigation.  I would suggest that you call or email an attorney and give all of the facts of the case.  That way, you could get an answer to your question.  Contact an attorney for a full consultation.
