I have been appointed as my brother's guardian and have to file a Guardian's Bond without surety with the court. I received a form from the court that requires my signature and 2 witnesses signatures. Do I have to purchase a bond? There are a lot of websites online where I can purchase surety bonds, but nothing I've seen talks about bonds without surety.
