What would happen if my husband unexpectedly dies before he changes his will?

My husband drew up a will many years ago, before we met and deeded the home that we reside in today. We have been together for 19 years, lived together for 7 years and have been married for 4 years, all in this same house. He has not yet changed his will to my name. What will transpire if he dies unexpectedly before he changes his will? Thank You for your time.

The existing will will decide how his estate would be administered. As a spouse you have certain rights, but they are to complex to provide in this format.
