My ex and I were together for five years. During that time, we set up a holding company which I then signed over POA to him (he could not have anything in his name because of IRS issues). We owned a restaurant and a wine store under that holding company. We had a partner in the restaurant and a different partner in the wine store. He looted both companies of money, wine, equipment, etc. and literally skipped town. Now I am being sued for fraud by both partners including rico. But I was also ripped off because he had drained our bank accounts that I had used to pay the mortgage, car, and also a liquor license that we had financed. But I am being accused of both people as being in cahoots with him. I was left just as blindsided. At first he told everyone he would make it right and would settle up .
