Are oral wills enforceable in nc

Have written will, notarized and witnesses. Problem is part was oral, executor heard the oral request, and his lawyer says its not legal How can I make it enforceable ?

The best advice is to have a codicil ( written addittion) made and witnessed and notarized or re-write the entire will.
