Boyfriend will not allow access to my deceased daughter’s belongings and her will. What can I do?

Daughter died as a result of assault from boyfriend, still under investigation. I need access to her will she told me about two months ago. She wrote it herself. He refuses to allow me into their apartment. I’m concerned if he finds it he will destroy it along with other important stuff. I live in Florida.

Hire a probate lawyer who practices in the county in which she died to file a Motion requiring production of the Will and an Application to Determine Heirship. When you are appointed to settle the estate, evict the boyfriend.
