More details to this question:
Besides having 2 witnesses sign this CA. statutory will, is there anything else I need to do to make my will legal? Also, I understand that notarizing the will is not required in CA., but should I still get it notarized anyway? Thank you.

Just complete it, sign it, date it and have two witnesses there to witness it. No notarization. It does nothing.
