QUESTION

Can I put my WILL in probate while I'm Alive

Asked on Mar 22nd, 2016 on Wills and Probate - California
More details to this question:
I have a will and I'm not confident that my beneficiaries will even admit that I have one. I would like to put it in probate so that it becomes a public record. I live full time in a foreign country although I use Kingston as my permanent address and vote from Kingston via Absentee Ballot

A will must be probated in the count where you were domiciled when you die.  Voting in a county would not mean that you are domiciled there.  Your will would have to be probated under the laws of the country where you reside.  If you think that this is an issue, then you should have a trust that wouldn't go through probate.
