QUESTION

can the lawyer hold his share for him?

More details to this question:
my husbands father died and his sister is the poa.. he is currently incarcerated.his sister wants him to sign some papers releasing the money for all the siblings... thing is,is that he been here before with the death of his mom and seen no money no nothing...so can he have the lawyer handling the will hold his share of the money shares till he gets discharged

The attorney can hold the funds, but you should make sure that he is not renouncing or giving up his share.
