My parents live in nj and my mother passed away in Nov 2013 my brother is exector and power of attorney of my parents estate and will. Dad is still alive but has no idea of what is going on. My brother said he dont have to give me a copy of the will until dad passes away is this true.
If the will was admitted to probate and your brother is the executor, he is required, by law, to provide you with a copy of the will. Call the Surrogate's Office of the County in which your parents live and get a copy from the county.
