Does a contract void if person dies?

More details to this question:
We have a contract on a farm to run our cattle on and cut for hay in return we bush hog the farm. The lady that owns the farm died, but there is still one year left on the contract. The owners son was left the land in the estate and now wants our cattle off the farm. Is the contract now voided since she passed?

If the contract was enforceable against the owner before she died, it is probably enforceable against the estate as well.
