Executor of my fathers will - I feel Ive been overcharged

I am the executor of my fathers estate- I hired a notary to assist with will searches & renouncing. My brother who is a heir also went to the same notary to pay for his renouncement since we weren't on talking terms and he rendered my dad's estate insolvent. My notary has sent me a bill that includes will search etc she also billed my brother for a will search death certificate which he paid in full
