My son passed away and his mother requested to be the representative, I expressed that i did not want anything from his estate. I have received multiple letters asking that i sign and return and unfortunately i do not understand the legal terminology in the legal forms I am receiving. For example one says "Order Determining Homestead Status of Real Property" says that I share 50% of the Homestead Property and today I received a letter asking to sign and notarize a QUIT-CLAIM DEED. Not trusting my ex-wife I don't want to sign anything without having it reviewed by a lawyer.
If you want things reviewed by a lawyer (which cannot be done on this forum), hire a probate lawyer who practices in your county. You may be able to find one by checking with the Florida state bar.
