Asked on Nov 09th, 2020 on Wills and Probate - Florida
More details to this question:
My father passed away without a will. He wasn't married at the time of his death. He has a couple of properties and automobiles that are all paid for. My siblings want to sell everything. We have an attorney, but our PR hasn't received the letter of Administration yet. Once our PR has this letter in hand what steps do I need to take to buy them out?

Make an offer.  The PR can accept it if s/he finds that it is for fair market value.  S/he is personally liable if it sells for less.

This is general information. It cannot substitute for a personal consultation with an attorney. It is not intended to be legal advice or imply an attorney-client relationship.
