I am administrator for my brothers estate.

More details to this question:
My brother passed and i was made administrator of his estate. He has 1500.00 in the bank in a checking account. The bank says the probate judges paper is not good to withdraw the money that i need an ENI number from irs.

You need both. Go to www.irs.gov to get an EIN for the estate.
