More details to this question:
My ex-husband recently died and his new wife says there was no will; but I know he made a will in 2001 when I was married to him. Should I call the attorney who created that will? If they have a copy, can it be used for the estate?

You'd be cut out of the will upon divorce. However, if you and he have children, they may stand to inherit even without a will. Yes, you should contact the lawyer who prepared it.
