If they want to spend the money to probate an estate in hope of getting a share of things which are likely to bring little or no money at a garage sale, they can.  The real difficulty, probate or no probate, is deciding who gets what.  If you can resolve that, you can spare a lot of hurt feelings and maybe save some semblance of a relationship with your siblings.

This is general information. It cannot substitute for a personal consultation with an attorney. It is not intended to be legal advice or imply an attorney-client relationship.
